巴特利特是美國基督教歌手、詞曲作家和福音音樂製作人。他創作了《在耶穌裡得勝》（Victory in Jesus ）。於 1973 年入選田納西州納許維爾的福音音樂名人堂。

這是巴特利特生前創作的最後一首詩歌。當時他因中風導致身體癱瘓，無法繼續外出服事，在人生的黑暗與身體的軟弱中，他回想起神在他生命中的救贖，寫下了這首充滿喜樂與得勝能量的樂曲。
