這首讚美詩在許多基督教派別中都很流行，據說是喬治五世國王和聖雄甘地的最愛。 1947 年，這首讚美詩在伊莉莎白二世女王的婚禮上被演唱，這成為了一個傳說。它也常在基督教葬禮上演唱或演奏。

 

「住在主裡面」就會得著從神而來的祝福，就是得著安息.(馬太福音11:28~30)
